EYELASH EXTENSIONS AFTERCARE

DOs:

• Gently clean your extensions daily the way your lash artist instructs you

• Gently comb only the tips of your extensions daily the way your lash artist instructs you

• Use oil-free makeup, skin care products and makeup remover

 DO NOTs:

•  Let eyelash extensions come in contact with water, sweat or high steam for the first 24-hours after application. Once the 24-hours have past, extensions can get wet

• Apply mascara on extensions

• Use eyelash curlers on extensions

• Let heat come in contact with extensions (hairdryer, oven, grills, smoking, etc.)

• Rub eyes

• Try to remove extensions yourself

• Sleep on your face if possible (which is also great for your skin)

 A few things to keep in mind…

 1.     Mostly everyone is a candidate to have eyelash extensions

2.     The desired fullness and length can be achieved depending on the strength of your natural lashes

5.     If your eyes tend to be sensitive, ask your doctor if you can get eyelash extensions. There is always the risk to experience an allergic reaction

6.     If you react to the adhesive during the first 24-hours after application, then unfortunately, extensions are not for you. If the reaction occurs after the first 24-hours, it was not caused by the adhesive

7.     After care is paramount for the health of your eyes and natural lashes, please follow your artist’s recommendations

8. Natural lashes, just like hair in any other part of the body, have a life cycle. Shedding speed varies depending on environmental factors like temperature and allergies. Also by hormonal changes, medical conditions and lifestyle.
